Lucy & Ava

Just two mutt cousins who refuse to sit still for more than a split second.

Pet photo sessions are one of my favorite to do! Two pups is a little extra difficult, but these two girls managed to sit still juuust long enough. They certainly earned their post photoshoot treats.

Sueper In Love, Adam & Michelle

"...a little bit of fairy dust."

These two were an absolute pleasure to work with, and it was such an honor to be there to photograph their wedding after photographing the wedding they met at.

Everything really came full circle.

Adam & Michelle, congratulations on your gorgeous wedding and I hope all the best things come into your lives!

Cheers!

Michelle

I am so excited to finally share these images!

Several months ago Michelle and I did a special photo shoot of her in her mothers wedding dress. On Michelle's wedding day, she gave her mother a book of the photos. I love helping brides (and everyone!) with special projects!

Michelle & Adam's wedding photos will be up soon!

Chelsea & Adam

MR. & MRS. WARNER

I am so happy for these two! They had one of the most entertaining weddings I've been to, and there was a surprise snow cone truck!

CHEERS!

Marlowe

Introducing Miss Marlowe R. Jennings!

Children are some of my favorite subjects to photograph, especially newborns. I always think of how I feel when looking at photos of myself and my parents while I was a baby, and I want to recreate that for others. Looking at photos of a time you cannot remember, but can see how loved you were from the start is something everyone deserves.

Everleigh

A huge congratulations to this beautiful family! Baby Everleigh is perfect, and she has a wonderful big brother!

It is always so humbling to be welcomed into someones home to document their growing family.

Veterans Day

To all the Service Men & Women who have served and are serving, thank you.

Several years ago, while helping move my paternal Grandmother, I stumbled upon a bag of old letters written between my Grandmother and her brothers during World War II. Reading these letters from a bygone era has always been important to me, it's a way to stay connected to the past.

Below is a letter written on October 6, 1944.

Suitcase Negatives

Over the weekend I finally went through an old suitcase of my grandmothers'. Inside were dozens upon dozens of old and uncared for negatives. Some showed my mother as a child, some of people no one remembers.
Tucked away in a yellowed envelope was a poorly folded roll of 35mm film from the beginning of my grandparents relationship in the early 1950's.

I have always felt that connecting with the past is important, and seeing these images of a woman that I was so close to, and love so much makes me feel that much closer to her.

The little boy is my Uncle Andrew, from my grandmothers first marriage during World War II.
