My personal work is hinged on nostalgia, and deeply rooted in my experience as a military child. Having many of my friend move away; photography became my tool to keep the memories and friends despite sometimes thousands of miles between us. I have used this experience to photograph subjects, and places, as I remember things to be as a child: excitement and everlasting wonderment.
I intend to create images that engage with the lingering child that remains within all of us. To remember how we looked at things when we had the innocence of a child.
I am continually inspired by the timeless glamour of photographs from the 19th & 20th centuries.
